In a hectic world, more than ever, people need places in which they can feel at peace and calm. Being social, focused, mindful - it all works better if we are in an environment that we feel comfortable in.
Akupanels are the perfect addition to any home looking to elevate its design and improve the overall atmosphere. The sleek and modern design of these panels make them a versatile option for any room in your home, from the living room to the bedroom.
With their clean lines and minimalist aesthetic, Akupanels will give any room an elegant and calm feel. Whether you're looking to create a modern and sophisticated living room, or a chic and stylish bedroom, these panels will help you achieve the look you want. Not only that, but the wide range of color options make them easy to match with any decor, making them a great option for any room. But the benefits of Akupanels don't stop at just their aesthetic appeal.
The panels are also designed to improve the overall sound environment of your home. They effectively absorb reverberation, which can make a room feel echo-y and uncomfortable. This means that you'll enjoy a more peaceful and comfortable home environment, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day.
The Akupanels are also made of eco-friendly materials, making them a great option for those who are environmentally conscious. They are also easy to install and maintain, which makes them a great option if you are looking to your space without a lot of hassle.
The Akupanels will absorb and break the sound waves, which means that you will get a healthy sound environment without reverberation. This will reduce your stress level and enable you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Our panels will reach a Class A rating when you install mineral wool behind the panels, which is the best possible rating within sound dampening materials.
Our products are for the critical consumer. If you value local production and sustainability, then this is the perfect fit for you. The acoustical felt is made from 55% recycled plastic, and all the wood we use comes from sustainable forestry. This means that some of the worlds plastic waste is recycled, and that the forests can reproduce more trees than what we use.
It is rare that Danish design is also produced locally. However, we believe that producing in our own workshop in Denmark is crucial in order for us to ensure that every product we make is a premium.
The Akupanels are simple and very easy to install. This means that professionals will save a lot of time in the installment process and for private customers it is the perfect ‘Do-It-Yourself’-project - even for beginners.
- The acoustics in our living room was unbearable because of the size of the room.
So whenever we had guests over and were too many people in the room, we couldn't stand to be in here because of the noise.
It really made a big difference when we installed the Akupanels in the room. We no longer have any problems with reverberation which feels amazing.

Felt made from recycled plastic (bottles)
Our acoustical felt is made from recycled plastic, which means that we take a waste product and transform it into something useful and beautiful.
The felt absorbs the sound waves and dampens the sound.
The core of the lamella consists of a medium density fibreboard and is available in black or a natural colour.
The slats create diffusion, which essentially means that they break the sound waves and thereby dampen the sound.
Wood from sustainable forestry
All the wood we use comes from sustainable forestry, which ensures that the forest can reproduce more trees than what is being cut.
In addition our supplier ensures good working conditions for the people working in the forest, while also protecting and respecting the wildlife in the forest.
