Natural Wood, Walnut, Black Felt, 240 x 60 cm

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Mathilda Stjernfelt in her newly built home, where she lives with her family.
Add chapter blocks to build this list.
The house, characterized by a modern and minimalist design, perfectly reflects Mathilda’s design philosophy—simplicity, functionality, and aesthetics in harmony.
Mathilda shares her approach to interior design and how she always strives to combine style with functionality.
“I love when minimalism meets practicality,” she says, adding that she wants a clean, timeless feel without compromising on functionality.

WoodUpp’s acoustic panels transformed Mathilda’s kitchen, enhancing both aesthetics and sound.
“They’ve added warmth and made hosting dinners so much easier—the noise level is much better, and we can truly enjoy the moment,” she says.
Since installing them, her home feels noticeably quieter and more comfortable.

Mathilda’s home is a testament to how aesthetics and functionality can be combined to create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere
Despite the home’s modern and sleek atmosphere, Mathilda and her family eventually felt the need to add something that would make their home feel more cozy and inviting.
“It felt a bit too bare, both in style and sound, so we started looking for a solution,” Mathilda explains.
After exploring different options, they ultimately chose WoodUpp’s acoustic panels.
Walnut was the natural choice, as they already had elements of this wood in other parts of the house. “We wanted everything to feel cohesive, and walnut was an obvious choice for us,” says Mathilda.

When asked for tips on installing WoodUpp’s acoustic panels, Mathilda is clear:
“Whether you love minimalism or bold design, these panels fit any home. They create a calmer atmosphere and improve the sound environment. My advice? Just go for it!”
Beyond better acoustics, the panels add warmth, making the space a favorite gathering spot for family and friends.
